Alicia Machado is a beauty model, queen of the stage, and performer. She was born Yoseph Alicia Machado at Maracay in Venezuela on the 6th of December in 1976. Alicia comes from a variety of backgrounds. Her parents are both of Cuban origin. She's been an important participant in the world of film, television, and beauty pageants all her career. Alicia Machado began her rise to stardom when, at 19, she won her title as Miss Venezuela representing Yaracuy. Machado was crowned Miss Universe 1996 one year after being crowned Miss Venezuela. This was four-time Venezuelan contestant to win the title. The time she served during her time as Miss Universe was marred by the media's negative attention and controversy as she grew weight throughout her time as Miss Universe. Donald Trump, who owned the Miss Universe Organization at the time, slammed her publicly over her weight gain even calling her "Miss Piggy" and forcing her to work out during the media spotlight.
