Lars entered the military after his time in school. He completed nine months of military basic service in the Kongelige Livgarde, an infantry regiment in the Danish army. He didn't feel the military service was right for him, so he decided to look for something else and eventually chose to study biology. Anette came back from a juggler's workshop and showed Lars just how much she could manage in three days, even though Lars had already been busy for a half-year. Lars was very pleased with this and was keen to give it a go. He dropped out of the college to attend juggling classes. He also studied fire breathing and the art of juggling. He then travelled with two of his classmates through Europe as a tour artist performing in cities like Paris, Munich and Moscow. He was introduced to a kids' circus two years after. There he also learned street and children's theater pantomime.
