Vinita Nair
The station was founded in July of 2004 and began reporting across a variety of issues, including the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and the school shootings at Bailey, Colorado. Nair joined ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. As a reporter she hosted live stories and briefs for ABC's digital network. Nair was a co-anchor for World News Now, America This Morning, and ABC's digital channel until September 17th in 2008 to February 18, 2011. For both of the shows, Nair began her collaboration with Jeremy Hubbard. Later she worked alongside Rob Nelson. Nair made it clear to viewers on World News Now that she will not appear on World News Now after Friday 18th February. It would also be her final day on ABC News. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver was immediately her successor. Each of the three segments of World News Now's February 18 program, Nair was honored by current and past colleagues such the late Jeremy Hubbard. The morning she left was when Nair treated her staff to breakfast that was delicious.
