Candice King, an American actress rose to fame in the role of Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. Candice King began her acting career in mid 1990s, as a singer. In 2009 she released her debut album , 'It's Always the innocent Ones' in United States. She wrote twelve of the 14 tracks on the album. Simultaneously she worked on her acting career as well guest starring in some shows like How I Met Your Mother and Greek. Although her career went well but it was not until The Vampire Diaries that she got her big break. The show quickly became the name of her character a household one. Candice Queen received acclaim for her outstanding acting skills and her outstanding performance. She reprised her role for the series' 171 episodes and eight seasons. The role she played on a regular basis was shown on The Originals, a spin-off in 2018 and Legacies, a 2021 series.
