Colson Kelly, also known as Machine Gun Kelly is best recognized for his unique way he raps. Baker was born the 22nd of April, 1991 in Houston Texas U.S. into an extended family with English Scottish and German descent. His parents were missionaries, and during his initial years they traveled extensively together. James Colson Baker was depressed and unemployed, while Sonia Alane, his mother had to leave the family when Baker was barely nine years old. Baker relocated to Denver with his dad and stayed for some time. Other kids in the area had a tendency to bully Baker due to his indigence.
